Hey Boys & Girls,
New links and resources to help you create your ESL lesson plans on the topic of the month.
Here is a whole slew of ESL questions that you can use as conversation starters when you kick off your topic for the month.
Just greet your students as they walk in the class and ask them about their week as usual. Catch any comments about not feeling well or being sick…or tell them if you were sick…and then just merge right into the health questions.

Here is a recent article on the swine flu breakout. It’s a current, breaking news event that you can use to really generate a conversation on health with your students.
Preteach the vocab and do some of the warm up exercises…then give the page 3 to do the pre-reading exercse. After that…give them a copy of page 4 or 5 depending on their langage level.

If you have any questions…just give me a holler. And leave your comments below as well. Look forward to hearing from you.
