Hey Boys & Girls,
Here is a quick ESL exercise to test your students knowledge of the verb ‘to be’ in some affirmative phrases in the simple present…focusing on the first, second, and third person singular…as in am, is, and are.
You can print these off…or just write them on the board to see how your students do. If you see they understand how to use the verb…then move on. If not…you will know exactly what to cover with the so as not to waste teaching time…and be most efficient.
You can also change the sentences o suit your needs…as in change the tense to the past…or even use the plural instead of the singular. Have fun and let me know how you use them…or if you have any other ideas fr them.
